I’m completely mesmerized by the Rockabye Baby Lullaby Renditions. I’ve got a little girl on the way, so I’ve been trying to find some cool music for kids. I don’t think it gets much cooler than this.
Radiohead, Coldplay, Tool, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The Cure, Nirvana, The Ramones, Nine Inch Nails, Björk, etc.
I’ve been having a ton of issues with iTunes on Vista. Apparently, there is a new version of iTunes that will be released in the next couple of weeks. To see a list of some of the issues, you can view the iTunes and Windows Vista article on the Apple website.
I’m always on the lookout for some great music to think/write/code to. I listen to just about every type of music, but I tend to listen to different forms of electronic music when I really need to concentrate. I can’t really explain it, but there is just something about it that really gets me focused.
When I go out I almost always prefer listening to something that involves a dj. I almost always have an incredible time when I’m watching a dj spin electronic music. There’s just nothing that compares to a good dj that connects well with the crowd. I’m lucky enough to live in a place where we have our share of good electronic artists come through town and I can almost always count on seeing a good show when I feel like going out to a club in Denver.
If you’re looking to get immersed in some good music I can highly recommend picking up George Is On by Deep Dish. This is a wonderful compilation and every song on the album is great. George Is On has been out for a while, but I always come back to it when I get frustrated looking for good new music.
